Guide to the Ojos Negros Greenway

The old railway line that connected the Ojos Negros Mine in Teruel with Valencia has been converted into Spain’s longest greenway, linking Santa Eulália del Campo (Teruel) with Valencia (via Sagunto along the Churra Greenway).

The Ojos Negros Greenway stretches 167 km to Alfara de Algimia or 249 km to Valencia. We recommend traveling from the interior to the coast to make the most of the downhill terrain. The length of each stage will depend on your schedule, physical condition, or whether you’re traveling with children. We also recommend taking this route in the spring and fall.
